Anthony Miller
Partner
J. Anthony Miller has practiced law in Oklahoma since
1983. During that time, he has represented clients in a
wide range of matters, including products liability, medical
malpractice, business transactions, real estate transactions,
and personal injury. Mr. Miller has represented clients
in both the public sector and the private sector. He has
served as the City Attorney for the cities of Mounds and
Kiefer, Oklahoma and has also previously represented other
state and local governmental agencies in both transactional
matters and litigation. He has also represented many small
businesses and individuals, and has served as a staff trial
attorney for Farmers Insurance Company.
Mr. Miller has been listed in the Who’s
Who in American Law. In 2004, he received the
1 st Place award in the Tulsa City-County Library Creative
Writing Contest in the Unpublished Essay Category.
He is also the author of Texas v. Johnson, The Flag
Burning Case, a book that discusses the United States
Supreme Court’s
controversial decision about whether burning an American
flag is protected free speech.
Mr. Miller graduated in 1979 from the University of Arizona
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ecology and Evolutionary
Biology. He graduated with a Juris Doctor Degree from the
O.W. Coburn School of Law in 1983. He is admitted to practice
in all federal courts in Oklahoma, the U.S. 10 th Circuit
Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern
District of Texas. He is also a member of the Oklahoma
Bar Association.
He and his wife Lynn have been married
for over 20 years and they have five children. Mr. Miller
is active in his church and in his children’s activities.
